Andy Chamberlain
Andy was trained at the Academy of Contemporary Music, works as an occasional session musician and for the Herts Music Service as a tutor. Andy teaches on many of Musicademy’s guitar courses and oversees all the course development and teaching. |
Rickey Simpson
Rickey teaches bass. He has played professionally for Inspirational Choir (Sony Records), worked with Jeff Jarratt (Andrew Lloyd Webber), Andrew Pryce-Jackman (YES Rock Band), Louie Clarke (Electric Light Orchestra), Royal Chorale Society and Royal Philharmonic Orchestra. He has supported numerous bands, singers and gospel choirs. Rickey is an extremely well known bass player in the London gospel music scene and has also worked with the BBC and Major Michael Parker (Golden Jubilee Celebrations, (Joy to the World and VE Day). |
Paul Buckley
Paul plays and teaches guitar, drums and cello. He was trained at the Visible School of Music in Memphis where he played with a variety of bands in styles ranging from heavy rock to gospel. Paul has played with members of Skillet, and has also worked with a number of well known worship leaders both in the UK and internationally. |
Jon Mann Smith
Jon teaches guitar. He has recorded a number of EPs and has toured extensively with various bands in genres all the way from acid jazz to heavy rock. With his own trio Jon is also a well known solo artiste on the London live band scene. |
Deborah Clarke
Deborah teaches vocals. She is a multi-talented singer, songwriter who as well as gaining a distinction at the Academy of Contemporary Music, has written tracks and sung on two professional albums. Deborah sings in function bands, works with various producers on original material and has even sung with Chad Smith of the Red Hot Chilli Peppers. |
Marie Page, Musicademy Business Manager
Prior to setting up Musicademy with Andy Chamberlain, Marie worked as a marketing consultant. She is also a qualified teacher and continues to lecture in Business and Marketing for various professional organisations and colleges. |
